Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1st of 1995, in Berkeley California USA. She is an actress famous by her roles in Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022).

Asia Argento began her career as an actor at the age of nineteen in Rome. The family she is from is also a group of film makers. She made her debut when she was just nine years old young in the film of Sergio Citti, Sogni e bisogni. In 1988, she played the lead role in Cristina Comencini's debut film, Zoo, and was part of the cast of The Church directed by Michele Soavi. Red Wood Pigeon, the film in which she starred as Nanni Moretti's daughter was released just a few years later. But it was Close Friends by Michele Placido that saw Asia's acting career explode. The movie was well-received at the Cannes International Film Festival. Daria Nicholodi was one of Argento's favorites actresses and performed the part of an orexic kid looking for their killer. Asia has worked with Dario Argento in three of his films, Trauma, The Stendhal Syndrome and the Phantom of the Opera. In Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato nozze, Asia's absorbed style of intense acting was utilized well. The role she played as Arianna in the film Perdiamoci by Carlo Verdone di vista, a physically-disabled girl, was a challenging and complex role that earned it the David di Donatello award for the best actress. Her film debut was a performance in Queen Margot, directed by Patrice Cereau. In 1995 she worked alongside Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio. This collaboration won her an award from the David diDonatello and the Grolla oro. Asia began her directing career in 1994 and released two short films as well as an episode of the movie De Generazione. In 1996 she directed an documentary on her father, and AbelAsia which was a documentary about the famous filmmaker Abel Ferrara. In 1998, Asia directed AbelAsia, which won awards by the Rome Film Festival. Asia's feature directing debut was Scarlet Diva where she starred as the lead actress, and also wrote the screenplay. It was released worldwide in May 2000. The film won an award in Brooklyn at the Williamsburg International Film Festival.
