Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai MMA fighter from Peru and a mixed martial artist who is fighting for UFC. UFC at the flyweight division,, is a Kyrgyzstani. Valentina Shevchenko, who is a former UFC Flyweight title holder as well as UFC other fighter, is her younger sister. Antonina Shevchenko started her combat sporting career by becoming an Muay Thai boxer. She debuted in the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko won the tournament and defeated Suzane Miller in the finals by a unanimous decision. Antonina kept her winning streak going by taking home bronze and silver medal in 2008 and 2007 respectively, and a gold medal in 2011, along with the title of 2015 IFMA amateur Muay Thai world champion. Antonia was a professional who started her professional career in 2003, won in 2012 and 2016 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships. In 2016, the WMC World Championships were also staged in 2016, and she took home the 2016 IFMA Amateur Thailand World Champion. Antonina was last seen fighting Isa Tidblad Keskikangas in The Phoenix Fighting Championship. The victory was a unanimous one. Antonina Schevchenko set her professional MMA records in 2002 when she took on Anara Bazanova at KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She took the fight via TKO in round 2. Her two subsequent matches were held at the WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko dedicated herself to kickboxing as she took a prolonged break in MMA. She was back to fight in 2017 and faced Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko was victorious against Anissa Haddaoui in an unanimous decision. She later defeated Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4 in a unanimous decision. She left in 2018 the contest and started participating in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko faced Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina knocked out Nievera using her impressive striking ability during the clinch final round by using knees on the body. Antonina took an UFC invitation following her win. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Strikes Finale in the fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko won the unanimous decision, but was defeated in her next fight by Roxanne Modafferi via an undisputed split decision. Antonina bounced off the loss, and won Lucie Prudilova's battle in UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler with a back naked choke submission. This was by far the most exciting fight of the night for the fight. Shevchenko had a win in her first three bouts, but lost them to Katlyn Cahookagian Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina is currently being lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
