Her two subsequent matches were held at the WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko dedicated herself to kickboxing as she took a prolonged break in MMA. She was back to fight in 2017 and faced Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko was victorious against Anissa Haddaoui in an unanimous decision. She later defeated Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4 in a unanimous decision. She left in 2018 the contest and started participating in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko faced Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina knocked out Nievera using her impressive striking ability during the clinch final round by using knees on the body. Antonina took an UFC invitation following her win. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Strikes Finale in the fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko won the unanimous decision, but was defeated in her next fight by Roxanne Modafferi via an undisputed split decision. Antonina bounced off the loss, and won Lucie Prudilova's battle in UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler with a back naked choke submission. This was by far the most exciting fight of the night for the fight. Shevchenko had a win in her first three bouts, but lost them to Katlyn Cahookagian Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski.
